IKEA's soft toy drawing competition
Do you have a budding designer in the family? Break out the crayons! Ikea's competition to draw the next Sagoskatt soft toys is now open to Australian kids aged three to 12.
Ikea's Sagoskatt range of soft toys are made from drawings done by children - which explains why they're so darn cute.
Among many others, there's a spiky purple monster by Su-ah, eight. A powder-blue bird with long proboscis beak by Clara, seven, and a rainbow-winged "dragon-corn" inspired by Mira, 10. All of them are dreamy and exactly the type of friends you'd invite to a magical tea party.
Aussie kids are now welcome to make their contribution to the Sagoskatt story. A winged kangaroo? A rainbow serpent? Entries are open online or in-store.
Here are the details:
IKEA is inviting children aged between 3-12 to take part in the IKEA Soft Toy Drawing Competition where the most unique creations will be turned into real cuddly toys sold in all IKEA stores across the world.
"The event creates opportunities for children to be creative and get to draw their dream toy and that opens up their fantasy, which really shows in the art", says Bodil Fritjofsson, Product Developer at Children’s IKEA.
